Joshua retains a few of his laundry list of abilities while aboard the Barge. The full extent of these are outlined in his app. Why is this relevant? Well, Joshua is a telepath, and while he won't abuse these abilities - it's just as fun to poke at people without actually reading their minds - they're still there for him to use. Before Joshua uses any of his abilities on your character I will ask you for permission. However, I do have a permissions post to start with.

Can Joshua use telepathy on your character? On the Barge, Joshua will be nerfed such that he will not be able to go digging through your characters' subconscious and finding out all their secrets the easy way. However, he will be able to read surface thoughts. Please let me know if you're okay with this happening!
Can Joshua imprint your character? Imprinting is a term from Joshua's canon that indicates a different kind of ability from passive listening telepathy. When one person imprints upon another, they very forcefully push a certain thought or concept into someone else's head, and the thought seems to have come out of nowhere - like a flash of random intuition, inception if you will. In canon these are only short phrases such as yellow curry or dessert and once the thought is in your characters head, they are free to discard it, build upon it, or do whatever the like with it. It can lead to weird innovations, concepts suddenly 'clicking' where they were unconnected before, or whatever you like. Are you okay with something like this happening to your character?

In addition to all of this: Joshua is a trollolololol kind of character and I'm aware that some muns don't like his character type. I'm not here to make anyone's rp experience less fun. :)

IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A fashion plate, Joshua is a slim, rather androgynous young man with floppy ash-blond hair that falls to his shoulders in a perpetual mess, and heavy-lidded slate blue eyes. He stands about five four and doesn't weigh much.
•DEMEANOR: Flouncy, in short. He dresses as nicely as he can manage and doesn't mind playing with gender norms when it comes to how he looks. "Metrosexual" might be a word that fit to describe him. He's almost always got a smile on his face, and most of his other emotions are feigned or exaggerated for funsies. He also tends to look as though he's amused by... something. Generally, he ranges from coming across as slightly grating to intolerably obnoxious.
•ABILITIES: See above. He's also a pianist, a good draftsman, and a technically talented artist.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: He's just got a regular human body with no significant allergies or anything.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Haha. I welcome characters trying to offend Joshua. Eventually, his relationship with Mr. H might be a sore spot, but he's tough to get to really.

IC PERMISSIONS:
•MENTAL: Joshua is a telepath, and he's ridiculously powerful when not nerfed by the barge (he's basically a god, so). I don't mind characters poking at his mind, especially as telepathic Wardens will probably be stronger than he is currently, but expect him to be poking back.
•MIMICRY: Yes.
•VIOLENCE: Yes. Joshua is nimble but not strong so that fight will end fast.
•MAGIC: Yes.
•DEBATE: Yes and he'd love it if they did.
•OTHER / NOTES: If you're hacking off limbs or killing him, please let's talk it out.
